Terms of Service
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Team Tide at tideapps.uk(the "Service"). By creating an account, starting a subscription, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Questions: support@tideapps.uk.
2. The Service
Team Tide helps organisations plan events, manage worship and volunteer teams, and organise song libraries. Features may change over time. We may add, modify, or discontinue functionality with reasonable notice where practical.
3. Accounts
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for activity under your account.
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
- Notify us promptly at support@tideapps.uk if you suspect unauthorised access.
4. Organisations and roles
Team Tide is organised around organisations. Organisation admins control membership, billing, and settings. Members may access organisation content according to their role and team assignments.
If you join an organisation, that organisation's admins can see your name and email and manage your membership. You are responsible for content you add and for complying with your organisation's internal policies.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other organisations or systems
- Upload malware or interfere with Service integrity or availability
- Scrape, reverse engineer, or misuse the Service beyond normal use
- Share copyrighted material you do not have rights to use
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
6. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed per organisation. Pricing, trial length, and billing interval are shown at checkout. Unless stated otherwise, prices are in GBP and VAT may be calculated at checkout.
Paddleis the Merchant of Record for Team Tide subscriptions. When you purchase or manage a subscription, you also agree to Paddle's buyer terms and privacy practices. Payment methods and invoices are handled by Paddle.
Trials convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial ends. You can manage or cancel through the billing portal where available. Access may be restricted if a subscription becomes past due or cancelled.
Refunds are handled according to Paddle's policies and applicable law. Contact support@tideapps.uk if you need help with a billing issue.
7. Your content
You (or your organisation) retain ownership of content you submit (events, songs, schedules, logos, and similar). You grant us a limited licence to host, process, display, and back up that content solely to operate and improve the Service.
You represent that you have the rights needed to upload and use that content in Team Tide, including any music-related metadata or materials.
Organisation admins may enable public share links for selected events or songs. Anyone with those links may view the shared content. You are responsible for what you choose to make public.
8. Our intellectual property
Team Tide, including its software, branding, and documentation, remains our property or that of our licensors. These Terms do not grant you rights to copy, modify, or redistribute our software except as needed to use the Service.
9. Availability and disclaimers
We aim for reliable uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, except where such disclaimers are not allowed.
10. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud).
Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages, or for loss of data to the extent permitted by law. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service in any 12-month period is limited to the fees paid by your organisation to Team Tide (via Paddle) for that period.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and cancel a subscription through the billing tools provided. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Provisions that by nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits) will survive.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and cancel any subscription.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers may have mandatory rights to bring claims in their home courts where applicable law requires.
